Letterpress Alphabet Poster
I created a series of prints by setting wood type and printing via an original Vandercook Letterpress. The print shown on the left is an 11x17, and I printed 20 editions.
I chose to break the form that type is typically laid out in, and show the letters in a more dynamic shape to reflect the variety of wood type characters I selected. You can see one of the prints as well as a photo of all the type laid out on the press below.
